At AM1 we recognise that clients affected by cancer have specific hair care needs beyond the usual salon treatments. Anthony is trained as a specialist in providing expert hair care services to those affected by cancer. We are committed to offering a range of bespoke services to help you look and feel your best and find strength in style, no matter what your circumstances.

Advice

Every client is unique and has different needs, which is why we like to get to know you first. Our consultation service is free, and we find that the best results come from a face-to-face chat, allowing you to fully discuss your requirements with us and hear more about our range of unique services. We are more than happy to arrange consultations after hours or during quieter periods for those who prefer discretion.

Styling and Cutting

Whatever stage of treatment you are at, AM1 can support you in looking and feeling your best. We understand that the loss of hair through treatment can be traumatic for many people, so during our consultation we will discuss options to make the process easier for you, including cutting and styling.

If your hair is at re-growth stage, we can work with you to create a style that looks and feels great! There are so many options for making the most of your hair, from cutting and styling to tinting and colouring. Our consultation will help you make the right decision to suit your style.

Wig Fitting and Personalisation

For many people, the thought of having to wear a wig is daunting, but with so many options now available, you can choose and customise a style that leaves you looking good and feeling great.

For a natural looking head of hair, we can work with you to match a wig to your previous style and colour. Gone are the days of off-the-shelf wigs! You can completely customise any wig to suit your style. We can help you choose a quality, natural looking wig, assist you with fitting it to achieve maximum comfort, cut, style and colour it so it’s as unique as you are.

Cancer treatment affects people’s hair in all sorts of ways. And whilst most of us may be familiar with the total hair loss suffered by some chemotherapy treatments, it can be equally distressing to have hair which thins or becomes very brittle. With the training Anthony has had, not only do you learn in depth about the technical side of hair care, but also all the personal skills necessary to work with and talk to those affected by cancer.
